Hi, I am Egle, mother of two amazing kids, who have inspired me to achieve my biggest dream. That just confirms how powerful motherhood is.

I was passionate about drawing, and I saw clothing as an expression of creativity all my life. But it was only after becoming a mother that I found the courage to combine those passions by building my beloved children’s clothing brand. Here at ‘Got you, Dragon’ I am manager, creator, designer and mum. Apparently, I’m a dreamer as well.

As a child, I dreamt of making clothes. Every bit of space was covered in drawings and sketches of my own –hints of a dream that, sadly, dissipated over time and was overshadowed by so-called ‘more serious matters‘.

When my daughter was born, this need to be true to myself, to find the right place and to set an example for my kids had become irresistible, and only wish my heart wanted was to make clothes.

Achieving your dream is definitely not an easy task!

I call such dreams Dragons. They represent something that is difficult to catch and keep, something that likes to be hiding out of plain sight, something that can only be felt. Childhood is full of dragons, full of dreams, fantasies, games and magic. To catch one’s own dragon means to relive one’s magical childhood.

Even though ‘Got You, Dragon’ clothing speaks through my illustrations or my own childhood memories, it is not my story, but rather, a way to tell the stories of OUR children and I’m trying to do it with care. Let’s live up to the dreams!

    CONSCIOUSNESS

I believe that being an environmentally friendly brand is very important these days, because brands have some kind of power in their hands to influence people to make better choices. That’s why we use materials certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 or GOTS Standard (The Global Organic Textile Standard). We are proud that our main fabric producer is from our homeland Lithuania, and that our suppliers are also based in Europe. Final ‘Got You, Dragon’ product is designed and made locally in Lithuania. We are serious about ethical packaging, therefore our bags are made of old unused materials or sewing cuttings. We aim towards sustainable kids’ fashion.

    BEING YOURSELF/PERSONALITY

All our designs have a story behind them, just as all of us do. We care about to highlight the importance of being ourselves, despite our weirdness, despite the unrealistic dreams we have, because it makes us who we are – it is our true magic.

    CREATIVITY

As for magic, I see it in PROCESS. I love all DIY projects, because they have that special transformational moment, when one piece turns into another and begins its own life. Clothing design also has this element and I believe that’s why I am so passionate about it. In this process our hands empower our imagination and our soul. It’s a miracle. So according to my belief, this miracle settles in ‘Got You, Dragon’ products and wakens our kids’ creativity.
